Overview
This mod is heavily intended to be used with Epic Fight. While I believe it's beatable in vanilla, it was not designed to be for vanilla.
It has been tested with epic fight with dodge and parry skills, but I have no reason to believe this wouldnt play well with bettercombat and combatroll.
Currently, the wither has been tested with Netherite Prot 4 armor, and is intended for this realm of gear. Prot 4 Netherite armor still ensures an extremely difficult fight.
Recommended mods:
Not all of them at once...
- Epic Fight
- Combat Roll
- Parcool
- Better Combat
The Wither
The mod aims to revamp the wither completely in order to make it more engaging, and melee-oriented.
Added attacks:
Uppercut - A quick uppercut attack that flings the player into the sky.
Tackle - A quick tackle that can be blocked with a shield/parry to stun the wither.
Sweep - A quick horizontal sweep.
Charge - A long windup with particles to telegraph the power. Instantly kills players but has a massive tell.
Slam - The wither ascends and upon reaching the apex falls down and slams the player.
Hover and Attack - The default flying and shooting pattern, reminiscient of the vanilla wither
Strafe - A quick strafe along with a ton of projectiles shot in a row.
Sky Turret - The wither ascends high in the sky and shoots fast moving projectiles
Shotgun (Phase 2 exclusive) - A deadly dense blast barrage that is capable of killing the player in 1 shot.
These attacks all have phase 2 variants as well. So they become more intense as the fight progresses!
How to defeat the wither :
Some attacks give ample opportunity to approach and hit the player.
After slam - the wither will enter a dizzy state where it can be attacked.
After blocking tackle - the wither gets stunned and you can attack.
All variables for attacks can be tweaked in the config.
Config:
In config-> tkvm_wither-common.toml
If the wither needs to be nerfed / buffed :
Use the EZ global modifier for damage output.
#Global multiplier for all Wither damage output
#Range: 0.0 ~ 100.0
globalDamageMultiplier = 1.0
For block breaking :
#Master toggle for Wither Skulls. If false, projectiles NEVER break blocks.

Incompatibilities:
Immensely incompatible with wither reincarnated.
I mean, it'll run, it won't crash, but it just completely breaks. Don't try to use it with this mod.
It's probably just not compatible with any mod that injects behavior into the vanilla wither.
