About this project

What does Extra Music add?

Extra Music backports C418’s music from Minecraft: Volume Beta to Minecraft 1.4.7 using Legacy Fabric.

The mod roughly follows the 2013 Music Update’s division between menu music and in-game music, with a few changes: "Floating Trees" joins the in-game pool instead of playing in menus, and the in-game tracks are not restricted by game mode, dimension, or otherwise. I plan to add "The End" and other Nether related tracks at some point in the future.

NB: "Alpha" has a 5% chance of being selected whenever the mod chooses a new track, whether in a menu or in-game.

All music added by this mod was composed by C418.

Config:

The configuration file lets you set the minimum and maximum delay, in seconds, between tracks for both menus and gameplay. These settings work similarly to the minimum and maximum spawn-delay values used by mob spawners.
