About this project

What does Villager Reroller add?

Villager Trade Roller

Villager Trade Roller automates the tedious process of rerolling villager trades, letting you search for the enchanted books, items, quantities, and prices you want without manually breaking and replacing workstations over and over.

Build a wishlist or search directly from a villager’s trading screen. The mod automatically cycles trades and stops when it finds a match for any active target. Found offers are saved, so you can mark them as acquired, keep searching for a better price, or move on without losing your results.

Features

  • Automatically rerolls villager trades until a matching offer is found
  • Search for multiple enchanted books or regular trades at once
  • Search inside the trading screen — click Find trades to browse and select targets without leaving the villager’s trade menu
  • Profession-specific suggestions — librarians show enchanted books, while other professions show their available vanilla novice trades
  • Support for all 13 villager profession workstations, including lecterns, composters, barrels, and more
  • Nearby villager and workstation detection, with manual selection and visible markers to help confirm your setup
  • Search by familiar enchantment and item names, with item icons and autocomplete
  • Per-target requirements for enchantment level, item quantity, maximum price, and additional payment limits
  • Price checking uses the actual offered cost, including demand adjustments and discounts such as Hero of the Village
  • Saved best offers — keep your targets and results instead of automatically deleting found entries
  • Search better — continue searching with the same requirements and only receive another match notification when an offer improves
  • Mark targets as Acquired or Ignored, reactivate them, or reset their saved results
  • Named wishlists — save, duplicate, combine, and import or export lists through the clipboard
  • Pause and resume without losing your attempt count or active search time
  • Clear interruption messages and a Resume / Retry option after recoverable problems
  • Choose between a compact HUD and an optional detailed HUD showing targets, search status, price limits, and saved best offers
  • Adjustable HUD size from 50% to 150%, independently of Minecraft’s overall interface scale
  • Drag the HUD into position, with optional snapping to screen edges and center
  • Page through longer target lists on the detailed HUD
  • Scrollable search lists with separate editing screens, keeping every entry accessible
  • Configurable found notifications and sound alerts
  • Fully rebindable controls through Minecraft’s Controls menu
  • In-game configuration through Mod Menu or the configuration key
  • English and Russian translations
  • Client-side only — no server-side installation needed

Why Use This Mod?

Finding good villager trades in vanilla Minecraft can take hundreds of workstation resets. This mod handles the repetitive part while preserving normal villager mechanics — it doesn’t add enchantments or change trade odds.

Whether you’re collecting enchanted books, comparing prices, or searching for regular novice trades, saved wishlists and results help you track what you’ve found and what you still need.

Perfect for:

  • Survival players
  • Technical Minecraft players
  • SMP players
  • Enchantment-focused progression
  • Players who dislike repetitive villager grinding

Compatibility

  • Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3
  • Fabric Loader
  • The full feature set is available across all supported versions in v4.0.0

Choose the universal JAR for any supported Minecraft version, or download the separate JAR for your specific version. Install only one Villager Trade Roller JAR.

Dependencies

  • Fabric API
  • Mod Menu
  • YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL)
  • Text Placeholder API for the supported Mod Menu version on Minecraft 1.21.11

Install dependency versions that match your Minecraft version, including when using the universal JAR.

Notes

Rerolling requires an untraded novice villager whose trades have not been locked. The mod does not purchase trades, level up villagers, or reroll locked trades.

Found offers remain saved until you choose what to do next. Marking a target as acquired records your progress; you still need to trade with the villager yourself to lock its offers.

Automatic setup uses nearby villagers and workstations. If several candidates are nearby, confirm the correct pair using the selection controls and markers.

Trade suggestions are based on vanilla novice trades. Server datapacks and experimental trade rebalance can change the available offers; custom searches remain available.

This mod does not add enchantments or modify villager trade balance. On multiplayer servers, follow the server’s rules regarding automation.
