About this project

What does Ghost add?

Ghosts title

Kodama diorama

This mod will add a variety of new ghost mobs to your game, each with their own unique functions!

Current features:

Ghost:
Ghosts spawn in forests at night, and can be tamed with glow berries. Once tamed, they can be given items, and will use them to perform specific tasks.
When holding torches, they'll place them in dark areas.
When holding a totem of undying, they can activate it on behalf of their player.
When given an enchanted item, it will remove a random enchantment and reward the player with xp, similar to a grindstone.

Seedling ghost:
Spawns in forests at night. These ghosts will pick up dropped saplings, and hold onto them until they can find a place to plant them.
Some seedling ghosts will hide throughout the night by burying themselves in the ground.

Kodama:
The kodama are the mysterious little forest spirits. They live in forests, and will trade random saplings for amethyst shards! Among these saplings is the new haunted sapling, which grows into a haunted tree.

Haunted tree:
Haunted trees are grown from haunted saplings, and will occasionally contain haunted eye blocks. Paired with a redstone comparator, haunted eye blocks can output a redstone signal when detecting entities.

Calibrated haunted eye:
Crafted with 6 haunted planks, 2 redstone, and one haunted eye in the same pattern as an observer, calibrated haunted eyes can detect entity distance, and will output a dynamic signal strength depending on how far away the closest detected entity is.
