Mace Limiter is a simple Fabric server-side mod that limits how many maces can exist in a world.

MaceLimiter

MaceLimiter is a configurable server-side Fabric mod that gives server owners full control over how maces work on their server.

Set a global mace limit, control how many maces players can carry, restrict storage and enchanting, change what happens to maces on death, and more — all through simple in-game commands.

Features

• Set a global mace limit
• Enable or disable the mace limit at any time
• See how many maces currently exist
• See which online players are carrying maces
• Set a per-player inventory limit
• Allow or block storing maces in containers
• Optionally block maces from Ender Chests only
• Enable or disable mace enchanting
• Choose what happens to maces on death:
  • Keep
  • Drop
  • Delete
• Make maces indestructible
• Add a cooldown between mace uses
• Control whether normal players or only operators can use the count command
• All settings are saved between server restarts
• Command tab completion and useful error messages

Commands

All configuration is handled through:

/macelimit

Use:

/macelimit help

to see all available commands in-game.

• Global limit: 3
• Limiter: On
• Chest storage: Allowed
• Inventory limit: Off
• Enchanting: Allowed
• On death: Drop
• Destructible: True
• Cooldown: Off
• Count command permission: Operator

MaceLimiter is designed for SMPs and multiplayer servers that want maces to stay rare, balanced, and easier to control without completely removing them from the game.

Notes

This mod is intended for servers. Operators/admins can change the macelimits using the commands.
