Glide the Globe

The main goal of this mod is to expand on Minecraft 1.21.6 (Chase the skies update) adding new features that fit the theme while still trying to keep the vanilla design.

☁️ Cloud Blocks | They come in all 16 colours in minecraft and can be found in cloud structures that spawn in the sky or by shearing the new gale mob. Cloud blocks can be placed by right clicking and does not need a supporting block to be placed

🗿 Waypoint Totem | A new entity that works like armor stands but these will provide a mark on locator bars for all players in the world, you can also customize the colour of the locator with dye and the style with banner patterns

🧽 Decorative Dried Ghast | A new block that works like normal dried ghasts but this one wont hatch so can be used a decoration, you can click water bottles on to increase the hydration stage or click it with sponge to decrease the hydration stage

🏷️ Locator Tag | A new item that can be crafted with a name tag and compass, this item can be clicked on most entities to give them a locator bar so you can locate any mob even pets, you can also dye these in the crafting table to change the colour of the assigned locator bar

🎈 Baby Ghast mob | A new entity that spawns rarely in soul sand valleys, they have the same look as dried ghast blocks and can grow into a mature ghast by taking them to the overworld, mature ghasts can be ridden by giving them a saddle and if you have a hoglin tusk you can shoot fireballs while riding them

Q: Will this mod be back ported to versions before 1.21.6?
A: No, at the moment our goal is to make it work with all future versions!
Q: Will this mod work with fabric?
A: Currently it only works with Neoforge and Forge, we are currently looking into a fabric version but dont have a release date!
Q: Does this work on Bedrock?
A: Nope, this is a mod for java. A bedrock port is being looked into but we dont have any information on that yet
