About this project
What does Sable: Weighted - Create: Deco add?
07/17 - i'm investigating the logging issue on world load with:
[Server thread/ERROR] [de.ry.sa.Sable/]: Failed to apply tag physics properties. Unknown block: <BlockID>
tl;dr - mod works, ignore "errors" (sorry for log spam)
i'm not exactly sure why this started happening but outside of the log spam, the mod works as expected with no performance impacts, etc. i noticed that loading into any worlds where i previously was using any of my sable: weighted packs is spitting out errors related to blocks that would have otherwise been referenced. the good news is it's a one time thing per load and doesn't happen consecutively in single sessions (unless /reload is triggered).
Adds full block physics weighting for Create Deco when using the Sable physics system.
Every structural, decorative, and utility block from Create Deco is assigned a mass and volume based on its real-world analogue, so large builds behave more consistently and intuitively.
Features
- Complete coverage of Create Deco blocks
Realistic mass scaling based on material (andesite, zinc, brass, copper, iron, cast iron, gold, netherite)
This has since been reworked to adhere to the same weighting principles as vanilla/create blocks.
- Form-based weighting (sheet metal, bars, catwalks, ladders, supports, doors, etc.)
- Adjusted volume for partial blocks (slabs, stairs, railings, overlays)
- Lightweight handling for thin geometry (bars, ladders, mesh, windows)
Heavier values for dense industrial materials and full blocks- Consistent behavior across decorative and structural elements
