About this project
What does Wanderers Across Worlds add?

Wanderers Across Worlds
A companion for every world.
🪡 This MOD IS in a very early access
Wanderers Across Worlds is a standalone, modular companion mod for NeoForge 1.21.1. Meet characters from across fiction — Re:Zero, Genshin Impact, and a growing roster — as fully-modeled, living party members. Browse and install them from an in-game Hub; no manual downloads, no extra mods.
A living party — not followers
- Converse. Sit down and talk. Each companion has branching, authored conversations — jokes, stories, and real exchanges that grow your Affinity over time (no romance; these are other creators' characters, written true to them).
- They have their own relationships. Companions befriend or resent each other, striking up multi-turn banter, remembering authored scenes with callbacks, and even electing a party Peacemaker to defuse the arguments you can then help settle.
- Moods that matter. A Sims-like moodlet system: what happens around them shapes how they feel — and their mood changes how hard they hit and how fast they warm to you.
- Living memories. They remember notable moments — a near-death, a boss felled, a first trip to the Nether — and bring them up, unprompted, later.
- Homes, beds & life at home. Found a base, assign a bed, send a companion to live there — and find her again where you left her.
Combat & progression
- Per-character skill trees — themed branches, ranks, and keystones, filling out exactly at max level.
- Combat by role — casters kite while they reload, healers reposition to a wounded ally, each with their own skills and ultimates.
- Down, not gone. A fallen companion is knocked down, not deleted — revive her in the field, or recover her later. No losing your friends to a stray creeper.
Built from scratch
- High-quality GeckoLib models with second-order spring physics (hair & cloth), dynamic head tracking, and speech bubbles — they feel alive.
- In-game Hub to download, enable, and live-update companions with no restart.
- Voice acting on key moments for several companions.
- Zero dependencies.
