VeinMiner

When vein mining, both trees and ores can be targeted however, ores require a pickaxe for the process, while trees can be mined without any specific tools.

Player settings

No operator permission is needed:

• /trigger vm.durability set 1 — enable one durability cost for every extra ore or log.
• /trigger vm.durability set 0 — disable extra durability cost (default).

Add blocks permanently

These commands require operator permission. /reload, and are protected against duplicates.

Vanilla blocks

add_ore uses six-direction connected mining. add_tree uses 26-direction tree traversal without leaf removal. add_tree_with_leaves also removes the named connected leaf type.

Remove a custom vanilla registration:

/function vm:remove_ore {b:"ancient_debris"}
/function vm:remove_tree {b:"bamboo_block"}

Modded blocks

/function vm:add_mod_ore {m:"create",b:"zinc_ore"}

Remove them with:

/function vm:remove_mod_ore {m:"create",b:"zinc_ore"}
/function vm:remove_mod_tree {m:"examplemod",b:"rubber_log"}

The mod must be installed on the server before its block is registered.
For a tree whose log and leaves use different namespaces, use the advanced API:

/function vm:register/tree {namespace:"logmod",id:"rubber_log",leaf_namespace:"leafmod",leaf_id:"rubber_leaves"}

Admin configuration

/scoreboard players set sneak_mode vm.config 1

• sneak_mode: 1 requires sneaking; 0 does not.
• system_disabled: 1 disables VeinMiner globally; 0 enables it.
• max_blocks: hard safety limit for one operation, including leaves.
• default_cooldown: cooldown in ticks after an operation.

/function vm:reset_config restores the vanilla block lists and reapplies all saved custom registrations.
