Potion Beacons
Adds a Beacon block you can use with any Potion Effects
Quick answer
Which Potion Beacons release should I use?
Potion Beacons 26.3-1.0 targets 26.3 with Fabric. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. 2 required mods need a matching file.
Where it goes
Is Potion Beacons required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Potion Beacons 26.3-1.0 need?
26.3-1.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), Fabric API first, but 2 required mods have no matching file for this setup. Do not mix loader builds to force a match.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Potion Beacons add?
Create your own custom beacons with Potion Beacons!
Potion beacons adds a new kind of beacon, the potion beacon, to the game.
With it, you can give nearby players many of the potion effects Minecraft
(or another mod) has to offer. Simply fill the cauldron part with a lingering
potion and the beacon will apply it to all nearby players!
Features
- Beacon beam is tinted by potions
- Contents deplete slowly over time, with each bottle giving 100 minutes of
effect time - Nothing is used up if no-one is arround
- More is used up if many people are around
- Works well with other mods and resource packs
- Highly configurable (see below)
Usage
Craft a potion beacon with a cauldon and a beacon, then place it like you would
with any (level four) beacon. Then, right-click the beacon with your
desired potion.
Configuration
You can:
- reduce the height of the pyramid required to activate potion beacons
- allow more types of potion (appart from lingering potions) to fill
potion beacons - stop the potion colour to affect the colour of the beam
