About this project

What does HeadPulseSSC add?

HeadPulseSSC

HeadPulseSSC is a client-side Fabric mod that adds fully rendered 3D player heads to the Minecraft TAB list and chat.

Instead of displaying the usual flat player icon, HeadPulseSSC renders an actual 3D head using the player's current Minecraft skin.

✨ Features
3D player heads in the TAB list
3D player heads in chat
Support for Steve and Alex skin models
Support for the Hat / second head layer
Uses the player's actual skin
Smooth head rotation animation
Automatically detects the sender of chat messages
Works entirely client-side
No server-side installation required
No additional server communication required
🎮 TAB

HeadPulseSSC replaces the standard flat player icon with a small 3D model of the player's head.

Each player is rendered using their own skin, making the TAB list much more personal and visually dynamic.

The mod also correctly handles different player models, including Wide (Steve) and Slim (Alex), as well as additional skin layers.

💬 Chat

3D player heads can also be displayed alongside chat messages.

HeadPulseSSC identifies the player who sent a message and associates the message with their corresponding skin.

The head is rendered directly alongside the chat message while preserving the normal Minecraft chat experience.

⚡ Performance

HeadPulseSSC is designed as a client-side mod and does not add additional server-side workload.

It does not create separate player entities or require constant network communication just to render heads. The mod uses player and skin data already available to the client.

Models are reused and cached where possible to avoid unnecessary object creation.
