0.3.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.

About this project
What does Tiny Blocks & Compact Gears [Beta] add?
TinyBlocks — Miniature Everything!
TinyBlocks is all about making everything smaller! Build entire miniature worlds, machines, contraptions, and redstone systems while keeping them functional.
Designed to work seamlessly with vanilla Minecraft and other mods, TinyBlocks aims to make miniaturization feel natural and hassle-free, with minimal compatibility issues and no unnecessary complexity.
New
- Miniature Everything: Shrink blocks, builds, mechanisms, and supported modded contraptions to create functional systems in tiny spaces.
- Create Integration: Build miniature machines with shafts, cogwheels, motors, belts, and redstone, with mechanical connections across neighbouring grids.
- Create Aeronautics Integration: Bring supported Aeronautics contraptions into the miniature world.
- Vanilla & Mod Compatibility: Designed to work seamlessly with vanilla blocks, redstone, and other mods, making miniature builds easy to integrate into existing worlds and modpacks.
- Minimizer: Choose scales from 1/2 to 1/16, or 1/1 for normal blocks. Right-click in the air to select a size.
- Minimize Me: Press X to shrink yourself to the selected scale, then press X again to return to normal size.
- Building Modes: Use Shift+G to switch between Normal, Fill, Hollow, Walls, and Plane, with a preview. Use Ctrl+scroll to adjust height.
Improvements & Fixes
- More accurate targeting and block outlines.
- Fixed tiny-block breaking behaviour.
- Improved entity collisions on Sable sub-levels.
- Hoppers can reach containers in neighbouring blocks.
- Fixed Pick Block targeting, chest and ticker phantom issues.
- Empty grids now remove themselves automatically.
Known Issues
- Redstone Links: Setting the frequency of Tiny Redstone Links by clicking their slots is unreliable. As a workaround, hold the frequency item in your main hand, look at the Tiny Redstone Link, and run
/tinyblocks frequency bluefor the first slot or/tinyblocks frequency redfor the second slot. - Physics: Tiny blocks on Sable sub-levels, such as ships and moving contraptions, may not behave correctly on their own. Sub-levels containing only tiny blocks do not yet have proper physics support. (#62)
- Performance: Large numbers of grids or grids containing many tiny blocks may reduce FPS, as each tiny block is rendered every frame. (#64)
- Block Drops: Items dropped by tiny blocks are currently normal-sized rather than matching the block's miniature size. (#52)
- Random Ticks: Crops and other blocks affected by random ticks may grow at incorrect rates inside grids and do not respect the
randomTickSpeedgamerule correctly. (#51) - Trees: Saplings planted inside grids may fail to grow properly, and generated leaves may not have the expected appearance. (#26)
- Containers and Animations: Some container interfaces, including chests, anvils, and enchanting tables, and certain block animations are not yet fully supported for tiny blocks. (#18)
- Mining: Mining progress may carry over from one tiny block to
The vision: Miniature everything, without the compatibility headaches. From vanilla redstone contraptions to complex modded machinery, TinyBlocks lets you build smaller, connect systems, and create more in less space.
