About this project

What does Easy Disenchanting add?

Easy Disenchanting is a vanilla-friendly mod that allows extracting enchantments from gear using just an anvil--no new blocks or items!

!<a href= !<a href= !<a href=

This mod is a rewrite of Enchantment Transfer, updated to new versions of Minecraft, and with critical bugfixes and improvememts, including the ability to transfer enchantments and combine them onto already enchanted books.

Using it is pretty simple: just combine a sword with an empty book in an anvil, and you'll be able to extract the enchantments from the item:

If you want to extract the enchantments onto an already enchanted book, you should put the book in the first slot. This will combine and merge the enchantments in the same way that combining two enchanted books works.

By default, Easy Disenchanting costs the same as combining enchantments the vanilla way, and also returns the disenchanted item back to you. You can change both of these in the config file for balancing.
