About this project

What does Mod Extras add?

Extra Mods

Read this if the mod was added after you added a different project While this alone is a standalone mod, it adds a library of tools, specifically including the costumes that me or another person may use in their project.

If you want to use this project in your own work, there is no reference for how to use this mod, but it is worth checking the source code of the mod.

Trailer Video:
(sorry for low quality, not really a good video person when making my own source content)

This is a mod for a private server, but I also want to share with the world.

As of the most recent version (1.4.3 Beta) the mod adds 5 things.

A crown (For all the royals who want it) This item is not obtainable in survival. It is a command only item. In the a future release, it will get a crafting recipe, but prepare for it to be expensive. It can also be found in the creative inventory, in the section where other armor is. tadc-mc:crown
A "broken" block A fun block that purposly has no texture or name, to let admins prank people into thinking the world is corrupting. (To be clear, I do not personally endorse something that can mentally hurt someone. This is only for a joke, and you need to be clear that it is a joke and not completely ruin a hard work in a way that is un-reversable)
The "Blain" item An item of which the item midel makes the rendering break and look really hilarious.
The Royalty Advancement After an update that initially. faild, the advancement now works properly.

You can gain the Royalty Advancement by having the crown in your inventory.

Trim Extractor As by requested by one of my friends, this block will take an armor item with a trim, extract the trim and the resource used for the trim, the armor and the trim. The block is released while we work on the functionality and GUI of the block.

Currently the Trim extractor doesn't exactly do anything but has been release in version 1.3.3 as an alpha so you can take a look at the model.

RECENT ADDITION

The most recent addition for the mod, is the features for:

Block Costumes

Block costumes are custom created and modelled items that work by right clicking onto supported blocks.

The Costume will be used and will then be applied to the block, rendering around the outside of it like a cosy blanket.
The Test costume in-game both on a stone block and in the hotbar

You can use the Costume Remover to remove the costume from the block, and it will give the item back to you.

Holding the costume remover item

Supported Costume blocks

  • Stone
  • Grass Block

Available Costumes

  • Test Costume - Is a simple shape that extrudes out of the side of the block. - If there is no texture, do not worry, the model does not have a texture.
  • Stone Horns (Specifically designed to be put on a stone block)

Future plans

In the future, we are hoping to add:

  • A squeaky sword -- a weak sword that squeaks when you use it, to fill the world with noise
Note about story Previously in this section, there was a story. This story is no longer going into production as the server has ended, so there is no reason for it. Mod Extras will continue to exist and get more content, as will my other mods until they are *complete*.
