About this project

What does NoForcedPacks add?

NoForcedPacks: Disable Hypixel Skyblock & Server Resource Packs

Summary

Client-side Fabric mod that disables Hypixel SkyBlock's forced texture pack, or any server-forced resource pack. Keep the textures you like and switch off the rest, one by one, from the vanilla Resource Packs menu.

✨ Features

  • Disable server-forced resource packs — no more being stuck with a texture pack you never chose.
  • Per-texture control — keep the parts you like and switch off only the individual textures you don't. It's not all-or-nothing.
  • Your settings persist across reconnects and game restarts.
  • Leaves your own packs alone — user-installed and built-in packs are untouched.
  • 100% client-side — no server-side install; works on servers you don't own.
  • Tested on Hypixel and Hypixel Skyblock.

🔧 How to use

  1. Install Fabric Loader + Fabric API, then drop NoForcedPacks into your mods folder.
  2. Join a server that forces a resource pack.
  3. Open Options → Resource Packs — the forced pack (and its individual textures) now appear as toggles you control.
  4. Turn off whatever you don't want. Your choice is remembered next time.

❓ FQA ✅

How do I disable the Hypixel SkyBlock texture pack?
Install Fabric Loader, Fabric API and NoForcedPacks. Join Hypixel, open Options → Resource Packs, and switch the SkyBlock pack off. To keep some of its textures, expand the pack and switch off only the ones you don't want.

How do I turn off a server's forced resource pack in Minecraft?
Vanilla Minecraft has no setting for this. NoForcedPacks moves the forced pack into your normal Resource Packs list, where you can disable it like any other pack. It works on any server and needs nothing installed on the server.

NoForcedPacks vs Detexturify vs PackDisabler?
Detexturify and PackDisabler are built only for Hypixel SkyBlock and mostly remove the whole pack. NoForcedPacks works on any server and lets you keep individual textures from the pack. Pick whichever fits; they solve the same problem in different ways.

🧩 Compatibility

  • Loader: Fabric
  • Minecraft: 1.21.11 26.1.x 26.2 26.3
  • Requires: Fabric API
  • Side: Client only
