Astral Cores (SMP)

Astral Cores is a server side Fabric mod that adds 12 custom items with unique abilities, designed for SMPs.

Features

The mod adds 12 custom items, each with one active ability and one passive ability. The active ability can be toggled with Shift + F or by using the /activate command.

Astral Cores is completely server side, so players do not need to install the mod on their client.

The official Astral Cores Resource Pack is recommended for the intended visuals and experience, but it is completely optional. If you cannot or do not want to install the resource pack, you can still use the mod normally. You can use /actionbar <text> to display the information that would otherwise be shown through the resource pack.

For custom keybinds, CommandKeys can be installed on the client.

Seasons

Astral Cores will have multiple seasons, with each season potentially introducing new Cores, abilities, progression, and ways of obtaining Cores.

In depth documentation for each season, including information about the items, abilities, advancements, commands, and other season specific mechanics, will be listed on the Main Readme.

For the Core system, an admin must first run /astralcores place altar ~ ~ ~ to place an altar at the specified coordinates. This altar is where the Cores will respawn.

If the altar is placed incorrectly, run /astralcores remove altar and break the altar before placing it again.

Dependencies

Server

The server requires Fabric API.

No other mods are required on the server.

Client

No mods are required on the client to play with Astral Cores.

CommandKeys is optional and can be installed on the client if you want to use custom keybinds.

The Astral Cores Resource Pack is also optional, but recommended for the intended visuals and experience.
