About this project

What does Assorted Roads add?

Assorted Roads

Adds roadways made from tar and asphalt, with road markings, manholes and roadway lights, plus sidewalks that are quicker to walk on and stone paths.

A roadway with a dashed center line and a crosswalk, sidewalks and stone paths either side, lit by roadway lights

Features

  • Craft tarballs into asphalt, then asphalt into roadways. You can also right click stone with asphalt to turn it into roadway where it sits.
  • Paint a roadway with a paint roller from Assorted Paint. The white roller has extra line patterns, so keep right clicking. A water bucket clears it again.
  • Roadways can be painted and cleared in a crafting grid too.
  • Manholes open and close with a right click so you can climb in and out.
  • Roadway lights turn on with redstone. They're made with an illumination plate from Assorted Lights.
  • Sidewalks make you walk faster.
  • Stone paths are a quieter surface for gardens, cut from stone on the stonecutter.
