About this project
What does High Version Info HUD add?
High Version Info HUD
Aim your crosshair at a block and an info panel appears at the top of the screen — no hotkey, no inventory screen, no GUI.
Mod loader
NeoForge only. No Forge, no Fabric.
Supports Minecraft 1.21.1 – 26.3 — one jar per release, 16 in total. Each jar is compiled against the lowest NeoForge release of its line, so it keeps working across that whole line (for example every 21.1.x build).
Client and server are the same jar. The network channels are optional: a client-only install can join any server, and adding the same jar to a server turns on real-time furnace sync.
What makes it different
Jade, WTHIT and The One Probe already show block info on the crosshair, and they are great at it — but they are configurable provider frameworks: what you see is whatever their plugins decide to show, and they come with an API, an addon ecosystem, keybinds and config screens. The One Probe additionally wants a probe in your hand.
This HUD is a fixed, zero-config panel built for one job — the crosshair. Nothing to set up, no dependencies, and it also covers things the general-purpose info HUDs do not provide by default: block breaking progress and live furnace smelting / burning progress.
Features
Block info — localized name, source mod, vanilla or not
Harvestability — ✓ / ✗ for the tool you are holding
Crop growth — reads age / stage / growth / level / height properties
Container contents — chests, barrels, shulker boxes; grouped by item, laid out in columns
Furnace state — input / fuel / output plus smelting and burning progress bars
Block breaking progress — live percentage while you mine
Localized — English and Simplified Chinese built in
What makes it different
Most container-preview mods only work on container items in your inventory, and make you hold a hotkey to pop the preview up.
This HUD reads world blocks — just look.

Install
Install NeoForge for your Minecraft version (at least the baseline in the file list).
Drop the matching jar into mods/.
Client-only works. Install the same jar on the server for real-time furnace sync.
The mod id is still blockinfo (the name it was created with).
