So, crazy story: someone else literally released the same general mod concept the other day, except theirs is better. Their version is far more detailed and realistic, while this one is mostly cosmetic..

I recommend checking out the mod Woodsman if you want a more intricate tree experience instead of just popping into items once felled.

Due to ongoing issues with toxic comments on my submissions, all non-error-related comments will be hidden going forward. Reports and error logs will still be accepted, forwarded to me, and reviewed once per week without a reply, but all other comments will be removed without being read.

At this point, I’m done interacting with the Vintage Story community and creating additional content for a community where I do not feel my work is wanted.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and as a gift to myself, I am removing an unnecessary source of stress from my life. Modding is ultimately a hobby, and one that takes hours of my time away from my actual work and the projects I would rather be putting that time into. When that hobby has become more stressful than fulfilling, I simply cannot justify continuing to dedicate that much of my time and money to it.
