About this project
What does Spiro Focused Classes add?
Summary
This mod is a work-in-progress for a personal (soon-to-be public) server. Basically, we made this mod for ourselves. :)
The mod adds several new classes, as well as a couple of new traits. Mod does not remove the vanilla classes, even though some of the new ones are direct counter-parts of such.
The intention is to move away from a class philosophy that grants severe debuffs for the sake of granting many buffs, making the debuffed gameplay feel like a waste (e.g. Hunter "wasting" copper nodes because of their ore quantity penalty). This especially applies to gameplay loops that involve finite resources (i.e. ore).
Understandably, the mod only for players that feel the same way and in no way intends to opress players who enjoy the current vanilla system. It was also intended to be used on "our" server only, which is why it's only going to be supported as long as we continue playing.
