What does Simple Bed Spawn add?

When you sleep in a bed, your spawn point is set to that bed. Sleeping in a different bed, or having it destroyed, will move it, so be prudent when sleeping away from home.

Works in singleplayer and on multiplayer servers. In multiplayer, only the server needs the mod installed; clients don't need anything.

⚠️ The multiplayer experience hasn't been fully tested yet. If you run into issues, please open an issue on GitHub.

 

Configuration

A config file is auto-created on first run at ModConfig/SimpleBedSpawnConfig.json.

  • Enabled → master on/off switch for the mod
  • VerboseLogging → detailed server-log output (bed positions, per-sleep events, save/load counts); off by default
  • Messages.SpawnSetMessage and Messages.SpawnLostMessage → customize or disable the in-game notifications individually
