Trader structures
Adds new trader structure variants to the world, giving traders more visual variety without changing the trader entities themselves.

Vanilla-friendly
BetterTraders no longer replaces vanilla trader structures. The new variants generate alongside the original ones, keeping the base game experience intact.

Cold climate variants
Includes trader structures designed for very cold climates, so trader locations can better match the environment they generate in.

Server-side
The mod is fully server-side and does not require players to download it when joining a server that uses it.

BetterTraders is meant to make trader encounters feel more natural, varied, and interesting while staying close to the original Vintage Story experience.

The goal is not to change how traders work, but to improve the places where players find them. A trader should still feel familiar, while the building around them can tell a little more about the world.

By adding new variants instead of replacing vanilla structures, the mod keeps the original trader locations available and simply expands the pool of possible trader buildings.

This makes the mod easier to use in both singleplayer and server worlds, because it stays lightweight, server-side, and focused on structure variety rather than gameplay changes.

Community feedback helps shape the project, especially when it comes to structure balance, climate-specific designs, compatibility, and how often the new trader variants should appear.
