Ventilation Dynamics

Mine air you have to manage. Deep, stagnant spaces fill with chokedamp that pools in low points and suffocates; mining coal releases firedamp that rises to the roof and explodes at an open flame. Your light is your warning: torches dim and go out, oil lamps dim, lanterns dim slightly and stay safe.

Keep a mine breathing with a second opening, a ventilation furnace, wooden ducts, wind scoops, extractors and air vents. Drafts follow height, heat and the weather, and carry bad air out along their routes. When the air turns, a simple or linen mask, an air bladder or an air-hose hood buys you time, and a duct to the surface doubles as an escape hatch you can crawl through.

Compatible with Asphyxia: Rebreathed as its ventilation layer. Install on server and clients. Early version: balance is still being tuned.
