Goblin ears (and friends)

update 08/08/2025 : for 1.20.12, I added a release (2.2.3) wich needs playermodellib now and not scrollcharactercreation. If you use playermodellib on 1.20.12 and have white ears ingame, download this version.

Update 29/07/2025 : Updated to 1.21.0-rc1, removed scrollcharactercreation, and added playermodellib as dependency (obligatory).

Update 20/05/2025 ! I added scrollcharactercreation dependency (obligatory), and now the mod will be way more compatible with mods adding things to character creation menu.I tested it and normaly, your character will stay the same between version Apparently in server it will remove ears and antlers between version. I'm sorry :( in singleplayer it was working for me

You no longer need to craft ears. (and you wil not be able to do it anyway. If you prefer them as hair accessories, just download the 1.x versions) 

They will clip with helmets and hats. Maybe use a mod that let you select parts of clothings you want to show. 

For now, the ears texture is directly tied to the vanilla one, and so i wasn't able to add shading to them, so it will be a little flat. I'll see what I can do. 

Tested and considered compatible with : 

• Human-like skin tone
• the kobold mod (it works without problem but it will add ears on your kobold... :p ) 
• My other mod: Antlers & horns ! It add antlers and horns on your head :p 

Partial compatibility with 

• Restored hair colors (gui not big enough, it's difficult to be able to select all colors )

For 1.x.x :

This little content mod add goblin and elf ears as an head accessory (so no, you can't have them and a hat at the same time, sorry), one set of ears for each skin colors of the game, but also colors from the mod  "Human's skin tone" by yew.

With 1.1.0, you need now to craft "unfinished elf/goblin ears" with a plain cloth, some grass and sticks, each having 2 variant (one for vanilla colors and one for human skin tone colors), before using it in the grid with dry grass/ flint/ stick to make the ears the color you want. 
Please search in the survival handbook the one suiting your skin color to have the exact recipe :). 

In creative, they are now in their own tab, "Ears"
