About this project
What does Primitive Technology add?

This indisputably essential mod adds our beloved John Plant, creator of the Youtube channel "Primitive Technology" and author of "Primitive Technology: A Survivalist's Guide to Building Tools, Shelters, and More in the Wilds" into the game.
Here is a side by side comparison of real life Plant and in-game Plant.
I did such a good job you can't tell which one is real and which one is in the game.

John can spawn anywhere on the surface, regardless of the weather and time of the day.
He can be seen wandering around and occasionally sitting or collecting resources.
You can also spawn him in creative using the item provided in the creature tab.
Just look for a little shirtless guy.
He is passive and won't attack anything or anyone unless provoked.
If you do decide to engage him, beware as he is incredibly strong.
Having 100 health, a 10 damage tier 3 melee attack and runs fast as heck.
Even if you do manage to defeat him, he won't die. You can't kill him.
Instead he will fall to the ground unconsious and drop a variety of resources.
Stuff you would expect John to be carrying around like clay bricks and charcoal.
Of course this is a joke mod and i am not expecting anyone to be using it in a serious playthrough.
Mostly made it so learn how to use the VS Model Creator and the basics of making an entity.
I do recommend you checking out his channel. It's very interesting and soothing for the mind.
He basically does in real life what we do in Vintage Story and it's just amazing.
From making charcoal, firing clay in a kiln, and even the incredible feat of smelting iron from absolute scratch.
Anyways, as always.
Feel free to post any issue regarding this mod. 🤙
