Cheaper Lantern Lining

Adds a cheaper lantern lining material (max stack size 16), costing 25 units of silver/gold/electrum as opposed to the 200 of a metal plate.

Using a hammer in the crafting grid on an ingot or a plate will provide 4 or 8 lining material, respectively. Ingots will take more durability from the hammer, however, since it's not flattened like a plate is.

Using a chisel in the crafting grid on the lining material will provide 5 bits of the metal type.

You can either include the lining when initially crafting a lantern (replaces plates) or add it by right-clicking an unlined lantern with the material in your hand. You can still use up a whole plate to line a lantern, however.

 

Updated for small lanterns. This mod should work on future versions so long as lantern recipes and the metal plate right-click functions remain untouched.

 

Poke me if there are any issues, or feel free to nab the source code and do it yourself. It's a "babby's first code" thing, so it shouldn't be too hard to read and understand what's going on.
