Quick answer
Which To Rule Them All: Middle-Earth Races release should I use?
To Rule Them All: Middle-Earth Races 0.3.1 targets 1.22.0-pre.1, 1.22.0-pre.2, 1.22.0-pre.3. It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 3 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is To Rule Them All: Middle-Earth Races required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
This release supports both sides, but the source does not require it on the server.
What else does To Rule Them All: Middle-Earth Races 0.3.1 need?
0.3.1. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Player Model lib, JSON Patches lib, Overhaul lib first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 2 come through another mod in the chain.
2 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does To Rule Them All: Middle-Earth Races add?
In the vast lands of Arda, many cultures and peoples fight to survive.
Requires PlayerModelLib!. Note that you will have to DISABLE Seraph model if you are using Configlib, otherwise it will still appear.
This mod adds races and subraces from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, intended to be used with the To Rule Them All mod series. These races come with traits that are reflective of the areas they live in and the values they uphold.
Currently it includes:
The race of Men are the Second Children of Ilúvatar. They have the greatest potential for honour and valour, and yet the greatest potential for cruelty and malice.

Hobbits are those little-folk that are known for their love of food and comfort. They are not overly fond of fighting, and want little to do with the outside world.

Dwarves are the children of Aulë, who, in his impatience, created them long before even the Elves came to be. For this they were set to sleep, and came to life again in their mountains after the First Children awoke.

The Second Children of Ilúvatar, the elves live longest of all races. As the ages passed, their strength waned, but their influence has withstood even to the Third Age.

The foul servants Morgoth and Sauron, the orcs and uruks are cruel by design. So long as a Dark Lord inhabits Middle-earth, they will raid and pillage and burn.

Plus, four simple classes that give slight buffs (Farmer, Soldier, Labourer, Hunter).
We plan on further customizing each subrace in the future, with custom skins and more detailed traits.
If any traits are not working, please let us know!
Compatabilities
Aldi's Classes. Subraces are able to pick from Aldi's Classes if it is installed. Not all classes are available to all subraces, though most are. This is probably not balanced!
SlowTox. Dwarves and Elves have higher tolerance! (Known Bug: The trait doesn't show up on the character select screen. It will still function on the "Traits" section of the character info screen, as long as you picked the subrace AFTER installing slowtox.)
Dark Vision. Men and Hobbits can barely see in the dark, Black Númenóreans can see a bit better, Elves and Dwarves can see moderately, and Orcs and Uruks can see clearly (though they are blinded when exposed to light). This patch forces all Middle-Earth races to have preset brightness traits, which are not adjusted by tweaking the Dark Vision config. We will eventually make a config to tweak these stats.
NOT fully compatible with XSkills! You can still use it, but saturation features may not work correctly. This is something that the authors of xskills needs to fix, as PlayerModelLib already handles it in a way that should be compatible.
Thank you to Aldi & Tomoyuki for mod help, Buggoi for icon texturing help, and Maltiez for the PlayerModelLib.

Disclaimer
All of the subraces of Men are based around cultures and geographical regions described in J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and the wider legendarium. They are influenced by real life historical ethnic groups, but are a fictionalized version.
