About this project

What does VS Server Stats add?

VSServerStats is a lightweight server-side mod that tracks player statistics and exposes them via a built-in HTTP API on port of your choosing. Still heavily WIP, but it works!

Tracked stats:

  • Deaths and player kills
  • Total playtime
  • Distance walked
  • First/last seen dates
  • Player appearance (skin, hair, eye color, character class)

Endpoints:

  • GET /stats — server info, online players, all player stats
  • GET /appearance — player appearance/skin configuration

Stats are saved to ModData/vsserverstats.json and persist across restarts. Designed to be consumed by custom web dashboards or external tools.

Plans for the future

  • Add armor visibility that is currently equiped, command a player can run like /savefit so it stays
  • Maybe add statistics page to the game itself, so its visible without webpage interface
