Perfectly Balanced Roofing Recipes

Disables all vanilla roofing recipes, and adds a new set of recipes with the goal of making roofing block crafting more convenient and reversible.

 

All roofing shape variants can be freely converted into each other with an intuitive set of recipes centering on two (2) particular roofing variants (basic slope and full ridge).

All craftable roofing types are allowed to be deconstructed into their base materials.

"Half" shape variants don't cost half the materials; they're the same material value in order to make conversion to other shape variants simpler.

 

Slate roofing can be crafted from red or blue clay, and returns red clay upon deconstruction.

 

Aged thatch roofing is also made craftable by sealing ordinary thatch roofing in a barrel for a while.

• (aged thatch roofing still returns ordinary thatch when deconstructed)

 

Bamboo and wooden board roofings only return 3/4ths the material used to craft them, because you need to carve the materials up a bit to fit them together. It's just science, broski.

 

I also made "right" ridge halves uncraftable bacause they're redundant; same as "left" halves, but with reversed placement direction for unnecessary confusion.

• "Left" and "right" place forwards and backwards, respectively..? What a waste of a roofing piece...

 

 

These recipes are based on the roofing recipes of my primary mod: Tersaphinoid VS

• Notably, Tersaphinoid VS also adds:
  • A new "aged thatch" material item type which makes the corresponding roofing more intuitive.
  • A new color of ceramic shingle roofing: "Lavender"
  • A few other new resource items which end up getting used in roofing recipes. 
• It also renames all the roofing blocks to make more sense.
