About this project
What does LogicalNerfsDirection add?
A Wilderlands Community Mod - Check out the Discord for player feedback and realism/immersion mod development discussion.
Part of my LogicalNerfs series, small fix mods for closing vanilla realism gaps.
- Makes the placement of knapping and clay surfaces player-direction-relative, not according to absolute direction.
- Makes the roller point in a random direction, when the player holds it in inventory, not in an absolute direction. Removes north and south selection in the roller F menu and replaces west and east with arrows that moves the roller direction one tick left or one tick right, relative to its current direction while being held.
By this change, the three items can no longer be used as exploits for compassing in mapless multiplayer or singleplayer worlds.
Todo:
- Make the knap visual effect on-hit/knap follow the new grids as well.
Should be bug-free, also persistence-wise across saves/restarts, if not, please let me know here in the Comments or on the Wilderlands Discord forums, and especially also let me know if there are other direction/compass-based exploits I've missed nerfing in the mod. Thanks a lot!
