Quick answer

Which ConGregation - expert Gregtech pack release should I use?

Updated 20 days ago
Latest stable file ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3
Game version 1.20.1
Loader Forge

ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3 is a complete pack release for 1.20.1 with Forge. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. Could not safely read this pack file.

Pack setup

How should I set up ConGregation - expert Gregtech pack for players and a server?

Use ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.

Client instance Install ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3
Dedicated server setup Match ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3
Pack loader Forge

A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.

What are the server requirements for ConGregation - expert Gregtech pack?

ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.

Could not safely read this pack file

The selected pack release is ConGregation-Beta 0.1.2 hotfix 3. That file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. We could not safely count the mods in this release. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

About this project

What kind of pack is ConGregation - expert Gregtech pack?

-About

ConGregation is a medium sized modpack (about 200 mods) centered around the difficult recipes and mechanics of GtceuM. Inspired by modpacks such as GT:NH and Monifactory, ConGregation tries to offer a unique progression, integrating (for now) mods such as Tinker's construct, Create, GtceuM, and more.

This is an alpha version, so things such as default recipes for mods currently integrated into progression and other bugs are to be expected, please report them if you find any!

-Features

-a rather unique progression going from the very start up until the steam age, where you'll have to search the lands for gravel to turn into flint to be then used into tools. After that, gather resources to make a Tinker's melter setup and a Ex nihilio sieveing setup. After, gather some more gravel to then sieve for metal pieces, which are then melted and casted into ingots. From on there, it's the usual: mining, crafting, building, things you are already familiar with (or is it?)
-a decently sized quest book, guiding you through your journey
-a variety of food brought by Farmer's delight, and also a semi-realistic nutrition system
-quality of life mods such as Iron chests, Iron furnaces and Functional storage

-a realistic health system, simillar to extraction shooters like Escape from Tarkov, where each limb has it's own health bar
-exploration mods such as Epic terrain and WWEE which completly overhaul the world around you
-and many more!
