Techy Techy
From flint tools to the edge of the solar system.
Quick answer
Which Techy Techy release should I use?
Techy Techy.zip is a complete pack release for 26.3 with NeoForge 26.3.0.16-beta. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 6 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Techy Techy for players and a server?
Use Techy Techy.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Techy Techy?
Techy Techy.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Techy Techy.zip. That file is for Minecraft 26.3 with NeoForge 26.3.0.16-beta. It contains 6 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Techy Techy?

Now with infinite procedurally generated dimensions
A deep, long-haul tech mod for Minecraft 26.3 on NeoForge, inspired by the great tech mods before it and rebuilt from the ground up. Start with loose rocks and a bow drill; finish with fusion reactors, Cosmic Voltage and rocket flights out to far Eris.
Every tier builds on the last, and the world is part of the tech tree: ores come in real veins, oil pools deep underground, ruins hold the salvage of a vanished civilisation, and fifteen worlds wait beyond the sky. Your guide is the Ferrant Codex, a worn engineering manual with live multiblock previews, a map of the land and the story of the people who climbed this path before you. A built-in recipe viewer (the Techy Index), look-at display (the Techy Lens) and storage network (the Depot) come with it, so the mod is complete on its own.

THE JOURNEY
STONE AND BRONZE
• Day one from the ground up: gather sticks and rocks, knap rock, flint and obsidian into tool heads, light a fire with a bow drill, and shape clay molds by hand. Wooden tools are gone; a Rock File keeps your first tools sharp.
• Hand tools and hand stations before power: plates, wire, mortars, sifting, mixing, oil presses, ore baths, panning and a Sluice Box. Cows, horses and llamas give rawhide and pigs give tallow.
• Hot metal by hand: melt copper and tin in a Crucible, pour bronze into clay molds and beat it out on a Forging Anvil. Coke, creosote, steel, bricks and glass come from kilns and ovens with no power at all.
• Rotational power: windmills, water mills, a hand crank and a Steam Engine drive a Millstone, pumps, your hand stations and a Rotary Dynamo for your first FU.
• No shortcuts: vanilla recipes are reworked round the tree (all in a built-in data pack you can switch off).
STEAM
• Coal, lava and solar boilers that scale up on hard water and explode when run dry.
• Steam machines, bronze multiblocks that run eight recipes at once (sixteen at high pressure), and a Large Steam Turbine for your first grid.
ELECTRICITY, LV TO EV
• Real voltage and amperage: too much power and a machine explodes, too much current and a cable burns, rain sparks charged machines.
• Overclocking, right down to several recipes a tick when a machine has power to spare. Run out of power mid-recipe and it slips back.
• Deep ore processing with a byproduct at every step, and chanced outputs that improve on higher-tier machines.
• Every metal melted, cast and extruded into plates, rods, gears, rotors, frames and tool heads.
• Chemistry with dozens of fluids and gases: petrochemicals, plastics, rubber, epoxy, nylon, explosives and rare elements. Oil comes in grades, each distilling to its own mix.
• Dangerous fluids behave like it: acids corrode the wrong pipe, hot fluids melt plastic, gases leak and fumes call for a Respirator.
• Multiblocks with freely placed ports and coil tiers, circuits from silicon you grow and engrave yourself, and covers for every face.
• Pollution: burning machines smoke up their chunk. Fit mufflers (they catch ash) and scrubbers, or watch the forest die.
HIGH TECH, IV TO UV
• Cleanrooms, Assembly Lines and research on a Compute Array. Fusion reactors Mk I to Mk IV and huge plasma turbines.
• Water treatment, flotation, platinum-group and lanthanide chemistry, biotech and neural circuits grown in a sterile cleanroom.
• Industrial and grand multiblocks running dozens of recipes in parallel, with perfect overclocking at the top.
FISSION
• Balance fuel, coolant and control rods, or melt down and leave fallout for hours. Later reactors throttle themselves instead.
• Hot ingots burn and radioactive materials make you sick: wear a Hazmat Suit and carry a Geiger counter.
BEYOND UHV
• Four exotic tiers, Stellar, Nova, Quasar and Cosmic Voltage, each with its own metal, cable, circuit and turbine.
• Fold a captive star into the Eternal Battery, share wireless power across dimensions, and build megastructures: an Antimatter Collider, a Stellar Swarm, a Singularity Compressor and a Matter Transformer.
THE LIVING WORLD
• Read the land: flowers over ore veins, tar seeps over oil, gas vents, meteorite craters, rock layers in every cliff and glowing Nether crystals. New trees, plants, berry bushes and wild beehives.
• Prospect with a hammer, dynamite, a Geophone, a pan or a Prospector; every find goes on your Codex map. Bedrock veins lie under the rest, mined forever by a Bedrock Drill.
• Dozens of Ferrant ruins across every world, each built with the machines of its builders' era and carrying loot matched to how far along you should be.
SPACE
• Fifteen worlds from the Moon to far Eris, the last world, each with its own rock, ores, gravity and no air.
• Six rocket tiers, a Launch Pad and Destination Cards. Survive with Pressure Suits, oxygen tanks and sealed rooms; off-world, fire needs oxygen too.
• A space station for each team that docks your rockets and cuts launch fuel, then a Space Elevator that brings up ores and gases.

AROUND THE FACTORY
• The Depot: tag any chest, crate or tank and reach them all from a Depot Desk. Craft straight from storage at a Drafting Desk, carry it in a Depot Satchel, stock multiblocks with Draw Buses and Draw Hatches, and at HV reach your storage from other worlds.
• Logistics: pipes from tiny to huge, round-robin and multi-channel pipes, long pipelines, filters with typed tags, sorters, wireless redstone, programmable redstone and a Central Monitor.
• Storage: crates that keep their contents, multiblock tanks, Bulk and Deep Storage and an owner-locked Safe.
• Farming and food: resource crops that grow real metals, a Greenhouse, a Mob Farm and a full food line.
• Field machines: Chunk Loader, Backfiller, Teleporter, Weather Controller, Drone Hangar, Matter Shaper and more.
• Gear: rock, flint and metal tools in many metals, power tools, jetpacks, flight harnesses and armour, all shown as real 3D models in your hand.
• Machines keep their contents when wrenched, running machines light up, and multiblocks show exactly what is missing and can be built mirrored or upside down.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
QUALITY OF LIFE
• Techy Index: every item and recipe beside any container. Search by name, mod or tag, switch the list to what you can make now, a creative tab or tooltip matches with one click, bookmark and pin recipes, and press + to fill a grid or machine. Craft plans (L) work out every step and raw material for any amount. Click a machine's arrow for its recipes, and R or U on any block or item for recipes and uses.
• Techy Lens: look at any block or creature for what it is, the tool it needs and a machine's progress, power and contents.
• Codex map (M): the land round you, with cave view, waypoints and prospecting finds.
• Seam Breaker: take a whole vein or a 3x3 tunnel in one go, with an outline of what will break.
• Machine settings: recipe lock, output void or wait, circuit number, separate inputs, copied with a Data Card.
• Middle-click sorting, a gear readout for tool charge and wear, and every setting and key on an in-game screen.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
BUILT TO PLAY WELL
• Every tier, from the Stone Age to Cosmic Voltage, has its own 16 px pixel-art look.
• Big multiblocks need maintenance you fix with tools or duct tape, or a self-servicing port.
• Built for big bases and weak PCs: networks are scanned once and repaired in place, idle machines cost nothing, and a large factory uses well under one percent of a server tick.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
COMPATIBILITY
• Minecraft 26.3, NeoForge 26.3.0.16 or newer. Singleplayer and dedicated servers; on a server only operators change server settings or use our commands.
• JEI and Jade (optional): full recipe, multiblock and look-at support. With them installed, the Index and Lens step aside (a setting keeps both).
• Forge Energy: Power Converters turn FU into FE and back, Battery Banks power other mods' machines, and FE chargers charge our items.
• Standard item, fluid and energy handling, so other mods' pipes and storage connect to everything. Common tags mean other mods' metals and fluids just work, and a button picks whose version a machine makes.
• Other mods' wrenches turn and pick up our machines.
• For modpack makers: every recipe, fuel, hazard, balance number, ore vein and rocket destination is datapack data, with a small public API. The pack maker's guide is on the project page.

CONFIGURATION
Every rule can be changed on the in-game settings screen or in config/techytechy-server.toml (per world in its serverconfig folder):
• Danger: explosions, cable burning, hazards, pipe hazards, reactor meltdowns and power-loss setback.
• Balance: machine speed, energy cost, generator output and the FE ratio.
• World: pollution and its effects, acid rain, fast leaf decay, fluid vein depletion, animal drops and chunk loader limits.
• Players: the Index, Lens, Codex, gear readout, 3D held items and sorting each have their own client settings.

GETTING STARTED
Every new player arrives with the Ferrant Codex and keeps it through death; lose it and craft another from a book and a piece of flint. Pick up a few loose rocks and sticks, knap a rock pick, build a Coke Oven, and follow the Codex from there.
Default keys: M opens the Codex map, L your advancements, R and U show recipes and uses, A bookmarks, O hides the Index, the grave key (`) is the Seam Breaker and the middle mouse button sorts. The stars are a long way up.
