Although beeing an Expertpack it has multiple ways to approach the progression. in other terms there is a non linear progression system which splits between playstyles you can switch to and from. This is also meant to encourage Exploration as an available Playstyle! (which isnt implemented yet)
The story drives this pack. In this pack the protagonist (you) comes with knowledge about technical things onto this strange new world. To survive and develop your technology you have to adapt to the strange settings and ressources. especially redstone is portrayed as the center of undead power.

you dont need to be interested into the story to play this pack! its an expertpack after all
completely revamped oregen and ore progression: ores are spread differently from their normal distribution. metal ores don't drop themselves - instead you get a number of pebbles which equal nuggets. you will discover various ways to increase your yield until u finaly get to silktouch which will increase your mining efficiency by ALOT.
tech and magic is heavily combined in this pack. its an expertpack because you should know the basics about the main mods or be willing to research them. if youre an expert who wants to experience loved mods in a new fashioned way: join Gyrnolia!
its challenging. oh yeah it is... We got FirstAid installed which splits all your hearts to your body parts. get hit on the head means dead. additionally after you managed to escape StoneAge you will have your own Industrial Revolution and suffer its pollution. build chimneys, filter your pollutans for ressources, make advanced uses of them (e.g. speed plant growth). You can come up with smart ideas to automate and tackle the problems which come with this.
