All The Horror (1.12.2)
All the best horror mods in one modpack!
Quick answer
Which All The Horror (1.12.2) release should I use?
All The Horror 1.0 (RELEASE) is a complete pack release for 1.12.2 with Forge. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. Could not safely read this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up All The Horror (1.12.2) for players and a server?
Use All The Horror 1.0 (RELEASE) as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
What are the server requirements for All The Horror (1.12.2)?
All The Horror 1.0 (RELEASE). Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is All The Horror 1.0 (RELEASE). That file is for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. We could not safely count the mods in this release. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is All The Horror (1.12.2)?
Disclaimer:
This is a modpack with all of the best horror mods! This may not be recommended for younger audiences and those who can't handle horror, or anxiety well. There may also be flashing lights, jumpscares, etc. If you are having any problems with the modpack please go to Issues Forms and fill out a form! This modpack is currently being updated and worked on, so stick around! I'm also working on the successor for this modpack on 1.19.2.

Have you been looking for the best Minecraft horror experience, but have had trouble getting it? Well here is All The Horror! It's jam-packed with all of the best horror, difficulty mods, and quality-of-life mods. Nowhere is safe for you, not even during daylight, and especially not at night. Be prepared to be afraid of the darkness.
It's sure to give you, and your friends anxiety if you are brave enough to play! There's a whole new set of horrifying mobs, and difficulties to face! So go ahead, and delve straight into the horrors of this modpack!

Once you get into the modpack you will find that there are endless possibilities for you to die, in a cave? Special event? A blood moon? Or another dimension?! There will be monsters waiting for you at every corner you turn.
The number of friendly mobs is scarce, so keep them close if you find them, though they may not survive. Better keep an eye on passive mobs too, and make sure not to attack them if they are in groups.
Horrifying creatures may grow, evolve, and spread to devour the surrounding entities! Not to mention that you can catch plagues! You are not safe anywhere, whether it be the skies, the land, the forests, or even different dimensions. Better keep an eye on your light level as well! Though you will find chances to survive, start quests, get stronger, and adventure out into the darkness of this modpack!
Get ready for the absolute horror of this modpack, and the anxiety you will face.

- Quests filled with exploration, magic, action, and horror.
- An infection that turns the entire world into parasitic apocalypse, transforming biomes, and mobs.
- Blood moons that summon the darkest creatures of the night.
- A set of creepy dimensions waiting for you to explore them, don't get stuck in limbo.
- Monsters of different origins capable of eradicating you are able to spawn in most dimensions.
- Hordes capable of destroying villages, and infecting them.
- Ambient sounds that fill the lands, waters, and caves that are able to echo across blocks.
- Monsters have evolved to earn new abilities and higher intelligence.
- Darkness fills the world, so you better plan your moves, and bring plenty of torches.
- Keep an eye on your sanity, as you never know when it might bite you.

Remember that this modpack has about 142+ mods so it can be pretty beefy for some computers!
Recommended Allocated RAM: 8GB or more depending on if using shaders. (When allocating server RAM more than 8GB may be required to prevent lag)
Optifine: Make sure to use 1.12.2 Optifine as it adds features that can truly enhance the gameplay in this modpack, as well as improve fps, and increase the quality of the game.
Here is a link to the Optifine download page: "https://optifine.net/downloads"
(Also make sure to use dynamic lighting, for increased lighting quality, and the ability to use items in your hand for lighting.)
Recommended Shaders for the best experience: Chocapic13 Shader's, as it really enhances the gameplay, and makes it a whole lot scarier! It really fits the horror feel, and makes it easier to see occasionally. Make sure to use it with dark, and high fog settings, though it can glitch out modded biomes! The 2nd shader is Insanity Shader's as it's built for horror, and you can change the settings to make the game look better or have a higher horror feel. (Keep in mind this will decrease performance)

Need a good server hosting service to play All The Horror with friends and don't want to have the difficulty of making one yourself just for it to run bad? Well here's Kinetic!
