Captive Survival
A new take on the classic Captive Minecraft genre, in the form of a Modpack!
Quick answer
Which Captive Survival release should I use?
Captive Survival-1.4.1.zip is a complete pack release for 1.19.2 with Forge 43.5.1. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 152 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Captive Survival for players and a server?
Use Captive Survival-1.4.1.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Captive Survival?
Captive Survival-1.4.1.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Captive Survival-1.4.1.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.19.2 with Forge 43.5.1. It contains 152 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Captive Survival?

- Inspired by the YouTube trend of old, Captive Minecraft. A genre of Minecraft maps with an ever-increasing world border, which only increased on the completion of a task!
- With the use of a custom datapack, biome generation is completely altered, forcing each biome to be extremely small, so you have atleast a chance of interacting with other biomes!
- Starting in a 5 by 5 world, randomly generated each time, you must complete the quest book. Expand the border by completing quests, claim unique rewards, make farms, tame animals, or even hang out with some Villagers. All of it can be done in the confines of your border!
- Go to the Nether, craft yourself some End Portal Frames, take on the Ender Dragon, and finally, go to different planets and even a new Galaxy with the content of Ad Astra!
- Not to mention the vast majority of mods that come together to create an intense yet vanilla-like experience, ranging from ExNihilo Sequentia, all the way to ProjectE and the likes.
- Over 300 quests and counting, roulette loot tables, choice rewards, and more!
- Be sure to select the "generator.custombiomesizes.small_biomes" world type! (But can be played on any vanilla world-type!)

REQUIRES 6GB OF RAM
