SkyBlock Plus
Server-side modpack for skyblock with some vanilla+ features
Quick answer
Which SkyBlock Plus release should I use?
[26.1] SkyBlock Plus v1.0.8 is a complete pack release for 26.1 with Fabric 0.18.5. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 6 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up SkyBlock Plus for players and a server?
Use [26.1] SkyBlock Plus v1.0.8 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for SkyBlock Plus?
[26.1] SkyBlock Plus v1.0.8. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is [26.1] SkyBlock Plus v1.0.8. That file is for Minecraft 26.1 with Fabric 0.18.5. It contains 6 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is SkyBlock Plus?
SkyBlock Plus
SkyBlock Plus is a simple server-side modpack to play skyblock with just a few extra features enabled to enhance the skyblock experience. This modpack is a combination of the mods found in the skyblock collection.
With this modpack, an infinite void world generates with properties akin to the original SkyBlock. This means all structures will generate with their bounding boxes, but no blocks. These structures will generate at the same location as if the world with the same seed was generated with normal terrain. The only blocks that generate apart from the islands are End portals and sculk sensors.
Starter Island
This island will generate with 54 dirt, 26 grass blocks, 1 bedrock (at world spawn), an oak tree, and a chest with an ice block and bucket of lava.

Nether Island
The nether island will generate with 40 netherrack, 7 crimson nylium, 7 warped nylium, 2 soul sand, 2 nether wart, and 14 obsidian for the portal.

Advancements
The story and nether advancements are modified to better guide the progression in a skyblock world. This modpack rearranges vanilla advancements and adds extra advancements.
Rearranged for SkyBlock Progression
The advancements in the story tab are rearranged and rewritten to support the skyblock progression instead of the vanilla progression. Some examples include moving the iron ingot advancement after a new advancement to kill a zombie since the first iron doesn't come from iron ore, but instead from killing zombies.

Guided Experience
There are several added advancements that help players progress through the game without needing to already know random quirks in the game. Some examples include describing how to build a cobblestone generator, how to obtain a second water from bonemealing water, how to obtain grass without silk touch, and how to gain a second lava source. Most of these advancements give hints at these quirks instead of directly stating what they should do.

Sky Void Additions
Some items are unobtainable in a normal void world. Sky Void Additions adds mechanics that allow all items, mobs, and advancements to be obtained.
Sand Island
A floating sand island will generate near 0 0. The sand island is made up of 27 sand blocks, a cactus, and a chest containing useful items.
The chest on the island contains the following items:
- 10 Obsidian
- 1 Sweet Berry
- 1 Glow Berry
- 1 Melon Slice
- 1 Pumpkin Seed
- 1 Sugar Cane
- 1 Cobweb
- 1 Cocoa Bean
- 1 Mycelium
- 1 Glow Lichen
- 1 Sunflower
- 1 Rose Bush
- 1 Lilac
- 1 Peony

Most of these items are unobtainable in normal skyblock, but become renewable after obtaining one of them. While some of these items are obtainable through other methods, the sand island lessens the grind needed to get them. For example, the method to get to the nether without the given 10 obsidian is normally quite long and tedious; it requires obtaining emeralds, waiting for wandering traders to spawn, and generating lava with dripstone.
Biome Islands
Extra islands will generate in specific biomes.

Biome islands will generate 20 chunks away from each other on average, with a minimum of 8 chunks between each biome island. This makes biome islands somewhat sparse, but common enough to find each one in a single world.
The following biomes can generate islands. Each biome was chosen to create a diverse set of islands that each added something not easily obtainable by other means.
Overworld Surface
- Badlands (red sand, cacti, and terracotta)
- Birch Forest (birch wood)
- Cherry Grove (cherry wood and pink petals)
- Dark Forest (dark oak wood and most tall flowers)
- Desert (sand, cacti, wood camels)
- Ice Spikes (snow and packed ice)
- Jungle (jungle wood, cocoa beans, bamboo, and melons)
- Mangrove Swamp (mangrove wood, mud, and sugar cane)
- Mushroom Fields (mushrooms, mycelium, and mooshrooms)
- Savanna (acacia wood)
- Sunflower Plains (sunflowers and pumpkins)
- Taiga (spruce wood and sweet berries)
Overworld Caves
- Deep Dark (sculk shriekers, catalysts, and sensors)
- Dripstone Caves (dripstone, tuff, and cobwebs)
- Lush Caves (clay, amethyst, moss, glow berries and dripleaves)
The Nether
- Basalt Deltas (basalt and lava)
- Crimson Forest (crimson wood and nylium)
- Soul Sand Valley (soul soil and soul sand)
- Warped Forest (warped wood and nylium)
The End
- End Highlands (chorus flowers)
Structures
All structure bounding boxes will generate (i.e. no blocks will generate) at the same coordinates along with some entities as they would in a normal world with the same seed. Below is a list of notable structures:
- Ancient Cities will generate the same bounding boxes (mobs will not spawn in the bounding box) and sculk shriekers that can spawn wardens (location of shriekers won't match with a normal world)
- Ocean Monuments will generate the same bounding box (guardians farms can be built as normal); elder guardians will generate, but immediately fall into the void
- Pillager Outposts will generate the same bounding box (pillagers will spawn in the bounding box) with any allays that normally generate
- Strongholds will generate the same bounding box with the end portal in the same location (though the eyes won't always match with a normal world with the same seed)
- Witch Huts will generate the same bounding box (witch farms can be built as normal)
- Mansions will generate any allays that would generate in a normal world
- Nether Fortresses will generate the same bounding box (spawner-less fortress farms can be built as normal)
- End Cities will generate any shulkers and ships that would generate in a normal world
- Trial Chambers will generate the same bounding box (mobs will not spawn in the bounding box)
The End Dimension
In the end dimension, the obsidian pillars and the exit end portal generate as normal. When a player goes through an end gateway, a small end island will still generate, but the rest of the outer end islands will not. In the end highlands, return gateways can generate.
