RU Translation (UI & Items)

🔴 The translation is not perfect. It is partially generated using AI and then minimally corrected by hand. Inaccurate translations, transliterations, or semantic errors may occur.

If you notice incorrect or strange wording, please report it in the comments.

🌐 ABOUT THE PROJECT

RU Translation adds Russian language support to Hytale, taking the game’s architecture into account.

Hytale uses a server-based modding model. Classic client-side mods (like in Minecraft) do not exist.

Because of this, the translation is split into two independent components.

👉 For the best experience, it is recommended to use both components together.

The project will be maintained and gradually updated as Hytale developers expand and improve the official localization system.

📦 INSTALLATION

🖥️ CLIENT-SIDE TRANSLATION (GUI)

File: [CLIENT] RU-Translation.zip

Installation steps: Extract the archive. Replace the folder at the following path:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale

🌍 SERVER-SIDE MOD (CONTENT TRANSLATION)

File: [SERVER] RU-Translation.jar

Installation steps: Place the mod file into the following folder:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Mods

Enable the mod using the checkbox before entering the world.

⚠️ POSSIBLE ISSUE AFTER GAME UPDATES (CLIENT)

The client-side translation modifies font files to ensure proper Cyrillic support. After a Hytale update, the game may fail to launch.

🔧 RESTORING ORIGINAL FONTS

Backup copies of the original font files can be found at:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\

Open the BACKUP folder. Copy the Fonts folder. Paste it with replacement into:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\Fonts

After restoring the original fonts, the game should launch correctly.

⚠️ ВОЗМОЖНАЯ ПРОБЛЕМА ПОСЛЕ ОБНОВЛЕНИЙ ИГРЫ (CLIENT)

Клиентский перевод изменяет файлы шрифтов для корректной поддержки кириллицы. После обновлений Hytale игра может перестать запускаться.

🔧 ВОССТАНОВЛЕНИЕ ОРИГИНАЛЬНЫХ ШРИФТОВ

Резервные копии оригинальных файлов находятся по пути:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\

Откройте папку BACKUP. Скопируйте папку Fonts. Вставьте её с заменой в:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest\Client\Data\Shared\Fonts

После восстановления оригинальных шрифтов игра должна запускаться корректно.
