About this project

What does Sabertooth Summoner add?

- Basically, this is my personal mod that I made because I wanted a cool mob to ride.

Sabertooth Summoner is a mod that allows players to summon a new mob based on the Sabertooth Tiger from the original game. This mob operates with neutral AI and have been recolored to differentiate them from their hostile counterparts. You can ride and control them like any other mount.

The mobs in this mod must be summoned using an magical Spellbook crafted in the miscellaneous category at Arcanist's Workbench. By combining 5 Medium Leather, 15 Essense of the Void, 30 Bone Fragments and 45 Essense of Life, you can create a Magical Spellbook that will summon a rideable Sabertooth Tiger.

You can easily install this mod by copying the zip file to the game directory, usually located at "AppData/Roaming/Hytale/UserData/Mods". then activate the mod it in the game!

Knowing bug:

  • Must have to look at the ground to summon.

  • Some time maybe the summoning is not successful but it will still reduce the material.

  • The mob will sink to the bottom of the water like other mobs if you unmount it.

  • If the mob is in sleeping state, the running animation will not appear when mounted.

  • Simple solution is to hit them to wake them up and then mount it as usual.
