About this project

What does Minimal Interact add?

Tired of long interaction labels taking up space on your screen?

Instead of showing “Press F to interact with …”, this mod keeps your HUD tidy by displaying only the interact key icon.

It’s designed to be small, unobtrusive, and compatible with different client languages, making it a perfect fit for players who prefer a cleaner UI experience.

Installation

Plugins can be installed by placing them in the %appdata%/Hytale/UserData/Mods directory. If the folder doesn't exist, you can create this manually.

Technical details (Interaction Hint Overrides)

This mod works by overriding Hytale’s built-in interaction hint translation labels and replacing their text with a key-only format.

The following interaction hint labels are overridden:

  • server.interactionHints.generic
  • server.interactionHints.open
  • server.interactionHints.gather
  • server.interactionHints.edit
  • server.interactionHints.turnon
  • server.interactionHints.turnoff
  • server.interactionHints.sit
  • server.interactionHints.harvest
  • server.interactionHints.trade
  • server.interactionHints.mount
  • server.interactionHints.burst
  • server.interactionHints.pickup

This is my first Hytale mod, and I’d love to hear your feedback. If you find bugs, compatibility issues, or have suggestions for improvements, please let me know in the comments so I can keep refining it!
