About this project
If you have played Prop-Hunt from Garry's mod before, you know that it is a mode where some players transform into objects in the environment (the "props") and must hide, while other players (the "hunters") have to find them. It's a very fun and strategic hide-and-seek game, and PropHyte takes this idea and adapts it to a new universe.
The mod is still in development, but it is already available on CurseForge, which means you can download it and start testing the early versions. It's really cool to be able to follow the progress of a project like this, especially if you are a fan of the concept.
Now, let's talk a bit about the upcoming updates, because there are some exciting features coming! Very soon, you will be able to use a special command to start a game directly, which will make launching the game much simpler and faster. Additionally, an interface will be added so you can easily choose your team: either you play as a Prop (the object to hide) or as a Hunter (the seeker). This will really improve the gameplay experience and make everything smoother.

1: For Alpha version, you need to select your props in: Creative tools / World / Change Player Model

2 : Click on the reach icon and type: « Prop »
All props begin with " Prop_ " followed by the object they represent.

But that's not all! The mod will also be enriched with many more items from the Hytale universe: food, blocks, tools... All of this will give you more choices and variety for your accessories and disguises. Plus, new PropHunt models will be added, meaning you will have more options to transform and hide.
Another very interesting point is the addition of a time system. This could influence how the matches unfold, perhaps with day/night cycles or time limits to spice up the game. And to make the matches even more immersive, prefab models for the game zones will be integrated. Even better, some of these models will be recreations of the famous PropHunt map from Garry’s Mod, which is a real nod to the longtime fans.
I also want to warmly thank everyone who participated in the trailer filming, because without them, none of this would be possible.
So, thank you for your interest in PropHyte. I hope this presentation has made you want to discover this mod and have fun with us.
Feel free to leave your impressions, ideas, or questions in the comments, it’s always a pleasure to interact with you!
See you soon for new adventures with PropHyte! =)
