About this project
What does Functional funnels (hopper) add?
Functional funnel
Not yet compatible with Update 4. I'm working on it, but unfortunately I don't have enough free time, so it's ready when it's ready. Sorry for this delay. Stay tuned!

Place funnel next to or under furnaces, tanning racks, chests, etc to automate input and output of items.
- Place a funnel towards container/bench: Automates item input,
- Under a container: Automates item output,
- Collects dropped items: immediately collects dropped items into the funnel's inventory,
- Auto-ignite: Automatically ignites the furnace (or any upcoming benches requiring fuel) when both fuel and items are present inside,
- Smart item placement: Connection side doesn't matter – items will automatically go to their appropriate slots.
Filtering Funnel

Acts like a regular funnel but keeps the last item of each stack. Usable for making items filters and sorters.
Recipe: 1x Funnel, 5x Gold Ingots. Requires Crafting Workbench tier 2.
Transfer timeouts
- Transfers one item by one with 12-tick (0.4 sec approx) timeout between operations,
- Collects all dropped items immediately.
Upcoming features
- ✅
Filtering funnel: Keeps the last item of each stack. Useful for filters like in Minecraft
Ver 1.2 (Soon!)
- Downward transferring
- Config
- Pipes
Later
Using with funace / tanning rack / salvager's workbench:

Known Issues
- Salvager's Workbench doesn't auto-restart. When a Salvager's Workbench completes processing an item and a funnel immediately inserts a new one, the workbench does not automatically restart the process. Manual interaction is required to begin processing.
- Direct downward transfer is not supported. It's not possible to transfer items directly down from a funnel to another container. You can use another funnel below, though.
- Chicken coop is not supported.
