About this project
... Cobalt equipment doesn't really have a reason to exist. Thorium is easier to acquire, has identical stats, and is objectively better thanks to having more durability. The only exception is armor, where it trades Thorium's poison resistance for higher special attack damage.
This mod is a simple numbers tweak to buff Cobalt to be exactly between Thorium and Adamantite in stats. Given the resources needed to make Cobalt equipment, I'd say that was the developer's intentions anyway.
Numbers Changed
Every (implemented) Cobalt tool has had it's stats buffed to the exact midpoint between Thorium and Adamantite, usually rounded up. If you want to know what exactly those numbers are, you can just view the JSON files in the zip, or just take the average of the numbers listed on the wiki. It's fairly easy, and I'm lazy.
The most notable change is that the Cobalt Pickaxe destroys volcanic blocks in 4 hits instead of 6.
Cobalt armor was already kind of a sidegrade, so it was only buffed very slightly. (+1 HP and +1% resist on most pieces)
Existing Cobalt equipment may need to be recrafted for the changes to take effect.
Includes support for Buuz135's Better Modlist, because why not?
I only made this because, as far as I can tell, no one else has.
