About this project

What does Nightwing Summons add?

Nightwing Summons (Summoning Mod)

image

Bring the night to life with bat-themed summons in Hytale.

Nightwing Summons adds a summoner-style loadout built around fast, nocturnal combat. Wield a bat staff to call a swarm of bats that fight alongside you, and equip a shadowy summoner outfit with a clean, hooded look.

Requirements

  • SummonLib (latest version required) — this mod uses SummonLib as a dependency. It will not work without SummonLib installed and updated.

Features

  • Bat Staff summon weapon
    • Cast to summon bats that engage enemies on your behalf.
  • Summoner Outfit (armor set)
    • A bat-inspired set with a hooded, nocturnal aesthetic.
  • Companion-style combat
    • Summons behave like allies: they follow, acquire targets, and attack in motion.
  • Lightweight and modpack-friendly
    • Simple, focused content meant to plug in cleanly.

Notes

  • This mod focuses on the bat summon fantasy: quick attacks, swarming pressure, and night-themed visuals.
  • Balance and values may change as the project evolves.

SummonLib Example Project

This project is intended as a demonstration of a basic implementation of SummonLib NPC summons, showing a simple reference setup for summon NPC behavior using SummonLib.
