About this project
What does HyCharcoal add?
Description
Hello everyone.
HyCharcoal it's my first project for Hytale.
Mod aims to expand charcoal as fuel, by adding two new types of it and reworking vanillia charcoal:
- High quality charcoal that burns the longest of the three types, but needs more time to be processed.
- Charcoal now burns significally longer than in vanilla.
- Low quality charcoal that burns the shortest of all types but still longer than wood trunks.

Obtaining
Production of charcoal centers around Furnace, where by burning the wood trunks of various type of wood, we will be getting corresponding quality of charcoal:

Blackwood and Darkwood
Burnt wood and Fire wood will give you the highest quality of charcoal and the most quantity on top of that, while Cedar wood will give you slightly less quantity.
Deadwood and Drywood
Those type of wood when processed give you charcoal and the most of it.
Hardwood and Redwood
Processed give you charcoal but slightly less than Deadwood and Drywood.
Lightwood
This type of wood will give you the lowest quantity of charcoal than previous types of wood.
Softwood and Goldenwood
Those types produce low quality of charcoal, where Goldenwood types produce lower quantity than Softwood types.
Greenwood
Produce low quality of charcoal and the lowest quantity on top of that.

Future plans
Changes to furnace - when using wood trunks as fuel, furnace will produce low quality charcoal instead of charcoal - in testing from version 1.0.5.
Ore smelting - from iron onwards ores will be requiring corresponding charcoal types for smelting.
Ash - new type of byproduct of burning wood trunks and low quality charcoal, planned as an ingredient and fertilyzer.
