This mod's only objective is to fix the issues where some Mobs launch themselves into the moon during their charged attack (or normal attacks, but normally it happens with charged attacks ;p).

If you find any other vanilla mob or modded mob with this issue, you can put it in the comments, and I will give it a look.

Skeleton Burnt Praetorian (vanilla)

Before/After Fix

The physics are extremely buggy, so the force the Praetorian applies during his charged attack is set to 3000 just to launch himself forward a few blocks (any value below 3000 barely affects him). Because of this, when he aims into the air, he gets launched with a force of 3000 and then won’t stop moving along the Y-axis, making him unable to stop even if you move him back into the ground. However, when he aims at the floor, the ground absorbs the force and he doesn’t get launched into the air, which is why this only happens sometimes.

  • For him, all I did was disable the Adjust Vertical from his Skeleton_Burnt_Praetorian_Charge.json.

You can also reproduce this behavior with any mob by creating a weapon that launches an enemy upward and then hitting them again while they are falling. (This without the need of placing a high value on "Force")

Fire Queen (fire mobs)

Before/After Fix
(KF_Fire_Queen_Attack3)

(KF_Fire_Queen_Attack5)

Attack3 & Attack5 have the same problem as the Praetorian they have high values in force (2500 and 2000 specifically), because of this she gets launched into the air with that same force.

-For the Attack3, I did the same as with the Praetorian: disable the Adjust Vertical from her KF_Fire_Queen_Attack3.json.

  • For the Attack5, instead of just disabling the Adjust Vertical, I changed the Force used from 2000 to 100 from her KF_Fire_Queen_Attack5.json, so if she attacks you when you are above her, she will be launched into the air but won't bug. (It looks funny.)
