Boske's Chest Labels (Icon Frames)

Boske’s Chest Labels is a mod that adds 9 0+ decorative frames with icons designed to improve storage organization.
Each frame features a different icon representing a specific item category found in the game, such as:

Weapons
Armors
Tools
Blocks
Ores
Deco
and much more!!

You can place the frames on any chest to clearly show what’s inside and keep your storage organized and easy to read.

Crafting

The mod introduces a custom bench dedicated to crafting the frames. The Chest Labels Bench can be crafted in the Workbench (Tier 1) by combining 4 Tree Logs (of any type), 4 Sticks, and 4 Linen Scraps.

All frame variants can be crafted through this workstation by combining 4 Sticks and 2 Plant Fiber.

The bench is organized into different categories, where you can find the corresponding frames. The available categories are:

Tools & Utilities
Build & Furniture
Resources & Materials
Farming & Food
World & Miscellaneous
Specials
Characters & Symbols

Optimized Hitboxes

The frames are designed with non-intrusive hitboxes, so they don’t interfere with interacting with chests. You can open, close, and move items without any obstacles. The gameplay remains smooth and natural, even when your storage is full of chests and frames placed side by side.

Adaptive Snapping for Large Chests

Since Hytale's large chests are slightly narrower than a standard block, labels previously appeared to "float" in front of them. We have added a dedicated interaction that allows players to slide the frame backward, making it sit flush against the chest surface for a clean, integrated look.

Technical Note: To prevent collision conflicts that could cause the chest to break unexpectedly, potentially leading to the total loss of all stored items, the frame's Hitbox does not follow the visual model's.

This mod is intended for players who want a clearer and more structured storage system, both in singleplayer and multiplayer.
