K9's Socketing Enhancements

K9's Socketing Enhancements is a Hytale mod that introduces a gear enhancement system to the game. Using gemstones and crystals, you can create elemental Jewels and socket them into armor, tools, shields, and weapons, granting stat bonuses, special effects, and unique behaviors depending on your choices.

Extract content to a folder from .zip for the mod to work.(Idk why the zip format gets an asset validation error, but works on folder)

Find Essence Crystals across Hytale to craft Jewels

With a new tier of the Arcanist’s Workbench, you can craft Jewels using Crystal Shards, Gems, and Essence Crystals.

Quartz, Zephyr, and Voidstone have been added to world generation.(Requires generating new chunks)

(Gem Attributes) Each gem represents a core stat aligned with Hytale’s lore:

Diamond - Light / Divinity (Gaia)

Greatly reduces durability loss, though it will not last forever.

Emerald - Earth / Tenacity

Reduces knockback received and increases knockback dealt.

Ruby - Fire / Power

Enhances overall gear effectiveness: armor resistance, weapon damage, and tool efficiency.

Sapphire - Water / Intuition

Grants mana and boosts signature abilities.

Topaz - Lightning / Striking

Increases charged attack damage and improves critical defense.

Voidstone - Void / Draining (Varyn)

Grants life-steal effects to your gear. But you should be careful with this power.

Zephyr - Wind / Swiftness

Enhances agility and movement.

Quartz - Life / Vitality (Custom)

Provides passive health regeneration.

Clear and intuitive descriptions

Easily understand and choose the best effects for your gear.

(Temporal) Recover jewels from weapons in the Salvager's Workbench

Currently, the crafting system for socketing two jewels into weapons follows a specific order. If you make a mistake and socket the wrong gem first, you can recover both the gem and the weapon (although Essence Crystals will not be refunded).

This is my first mod and I mainly made all the content in the asset editor/blockbench within it's limitations. Any feedback will be welcome.

Some content has been temporarily removed to ensure a polished and enjoyable adventure mode experience. Planned features and known areas for improvement include:

• Improvement on item icons and/or tiers
• Better visual feedback and effects
• General balance adjustments
• Mithril Tier
• Iron Tier
• Spanish translation
• Recycle tab/table (recover some resources from unwanted gear)
• Better Socketing Table UI (currently functions as a large crafting bench)
• More complex enchantments (discarded for now because of asset editor limitations)
