What does Gnarls add?
Gnarl – The Awakened Tree
Gnarl is a mysterious forest enemy that appears only in wooded areas, perfectly blending in with its surroundings.
Although it does not attack on its own, it is far from harmless.
Instead of fighting directly, Gnarl summons loyal forest minions to defend it and engage in combat.
These servants act on its command and will relentlessly pursue anyone who dares to approach.
Gnarl’s minions use two types of attacks:
- Melee Attack – closing the distance to strike the player directly
- Ranged Attack – throwing acorns from afar to pressure enemies at a distance
Defeating Gnarl and its minions can also serve as an alternative way of gathering wood turning combat into a valuable source of resources.
Facing Gnarl means facing the forest itself a battle not against a single enemy, but against a coordinated swarm under its control.
