About this project

What does Fov Zoom add?

Fov Zoom

Zoom using your Walk keybind (Left Alt by default) while holding it, and scroll to zoom in or out.

Unlike mods that move the camera forward (which can cause clipping through walls), this mod adjusts the field of view (FOV) to create a true zoom effect.

It can be installed like any standard Hytale mod.

Since Hytale doesn’t currently provide proper FOV control, this mod uses a workaround that may slightly alter colors while zooming (as shown in the gallery). This is expected and does not affect normal gameplay.

The mod will be updated if official FOV support is added.
