VampireMod
Become a creature of the night.
VampireMod adds a full vampire system to Hytale including infection, progression stages, blood mechanics, sunlight punishment, vampire coffins, vampire potions, and a custom HUD.
Features
Vampire infection system
- Get infected by Vampire Lords or other vampire players
- Progress from human -> cursed -> vampire
- Transform after a 30 minute countdown
- Cure the curse with Garlic Cure
Vampire NPCs
- New vampire enemies appear in the world
- Vampire Lords can infect players
- Vampire Lord attacks have a 10% chance to infect players
- Other vampire NPCs fight normally and do not infect players
Stage progression
- 4 vampire stages (I -> IV)
- Gain power over time
- Higher stages increase both strength and weaknesses
- Blood items reduce stage pressure
Sunlight weakness
- Take damage during the day
- Avoid damage by staying in shade
- Use Sun Protection Potion to survive sunlight temporarily
- Sunlight damage scales with vampire stage
Night buffs
- Improved visibility at night
- Movement bonuses while sprinting
- Stage II+ vampires gain Blood Sense at night
Combat enhancements
- Increased unarmed damage
- Weapon damage scales with stage
- Stage IV increases unarmed damage from 12 -> 16
Blood system
- Blood reduces stage pressure and grants HealthRegen T1
- Pure Blood reduces more stage pressure and grants HealthRegen T2
- Royal Blood gives the strongest stage reduction and grants HealthRegen T3
Vampire coffins
- Adds four custom vampire coffins
- Coffins are vampire-only
- Vampires can rest in coffins during daylight
- Coffins grant stamina and delayed healing effects
- Coffin time skip is disabled by default for multiplayer safety

- Vampire Coffin - Human Ruins
- Vampire Coffin - Ancient
- Vampire Coffin - Temple Dark
Vampire potions
- Sun Protection Potion protects vampires from sunlight for 5 minutes
- Garlic Cure cures vampirism and removes vampire curse effects
- Blood, Pure Blood, and Royal Blood work as vampire recovery resources
Custom HUD
- Curse countdown during infection
- Stage bar during vampire state
- Stage label and progress display
EasyHunger Integration
- Optional compatibility with EasyHunger
- Adds enhanced survival mechanics to vampire gameplay
- Not required to use the mod
Player States
- Clean — Normal player
- Cursed — Infected, transformation countdown active
- Vampire — Permanent state with scaling power
Gameplay
Higher stages increase your power, but also make sunlight more dangerous.
You must balance:

- coffin resting

Compatibility
- Works standalone

Config
- Added global config file:

coffinSkipTimeEnabled. - Default value:
false. - When enabled, coffin rest can move world time toward night.
- For multiplayer servers, keep this disabled unless you explicitly want players to affect world time.

- Sunlight damage scales with stage
- Progression is passive over time
- Coffin time skip is disabled by default
